BEST 7 PLACES TO VISIT IN 2025

1. TAGHAZOUT, MOROCCO

If winter in Europe is dragging its feet, head to Taghazout in Morocco to get some sun, sand, and surf! A short drive from the city of Agadir, this used to be a sleepy fishing village on the Atlantic coast.

Now, Taghazout has grown in popularity as a destination thanks to its amazing opportunities for year-round surfing. Therefore, you can’t visit without doing a surfing course – there are options available for all levels. If that isn’t your thing, the village has beautiful beaches for walking or sunbathing, as well as other relaxing activities like yoga.

As it faces west over the Atlantic, it also has incredible sunsets – especially from Anchor Point Bay. Finally, you can get delicious, fresh seafood from most restaurants in the village. If you fancy a drink, check the place you’re going to sells alcohol as many do not.

If you appreciate a prime beachfront location Radisson Blu Resort in Taghazout Bay Surf Village, will be a great option for you!

2. GDANSK, POLAND

Without a doubt, Gdansk has been my favourite discovery of 2024 and also Radisson Hotel & Suites Gdansk my favorite Radisson property I have ever visited (and I have stayed at 15 already!). It feels like visiting Amsterdam or Stockholm, but at half the price. This Polish port town offers tourists beautiful buildings, plenty of history, amazing attractions, and delicious Polish cuisine.

Don’t miss sights like the awe-inspiring Artus Court museum and the Town Hall – this has an incredible museum and its tower offers incredible views over the town and out to sea from. Otherwise, Gdansk’s WWII museum is one of the best in the country.

Outdoors, a wander along the river Motlawa is also a must. Radisson Hotel & Suites Gdansk has a 10/10 riverside location and offers stunning views of the Motława River and the city’s picturesque architecture. Lastly, the Old Town has many places serving tasty, traditional Polish dishes such as pierogi, as well as trendy bars for a sophisticated nightcap!

3. MARSEILLE, FRANCE

Marseille has become one of the hottest destinations for a European city break in recent years. So it had to make it to the list of the 7 Top Places to Visit in 2025! This is no surprise, given that it combines the best parts of a big, vibrant city with an amazing cultural scene, and easy access to beaches and a stunning national park. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the Mediterranean sun.

Then why not wake up to in Radisson Blu Hotel, Marseille Vieux Port and start the day with coffee and a swim on its rooftop pool which offers panoramic views of the Old Port and the city skyline. Afterwards, wander through beautiful, historic areas such as the Vieux Port and Le Panier, before soaking up the views from the incredible Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica.

The Plages du Prado offer the chance for some sunbathing. If you’re keen on culture, you can’t go wrong by visiting one of Marseille’s world-class museums or galleries, or Le Corbusier’s Cité radieuse. The food and drink scene is fantastic, too – book a table at Tuba for delicious seafood, stylish design, and an unbeatable view of the Med.

4. SEVILLA, SPAIN

Most of Europe is cold in early spring or beginning of autumn. However, if you’re desperate for an early or late dose of sunshine, head to Sevilla! Located in Spain’s southern region of Andalusia, expect rugged surroundings, winding streets of charming whitewashed houses, and incredible sights such as the Cathedral.

Otherwise, there’s lots to do outside to make the most of the balmy spring weather. This includes trips along the river or to the city’s gorgeous parks. Don’t miss delicious tapas in one of the old town neighbourhoods such as Macarena or Alameda. Also, be sure to catch amazing flamenco performances during your stay for an authentic Spanish experience.

Here Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza Sevilla, is another of my Radisson favorites due to prime location, great design and let’s not forget a great rooftop pool!

5. MYKONOS, GREECE

Once known as a party island, Mykonos is gradually turning into a slower and more authentic holiday destination – we are all for it! Visit either at the end of season when the crowds have left and prices are cheaper. You’ll have the run of the chicest bars and restaurants without having to worry about sunburnt revellers. Don’t miss sunset from the island’s iconic windmills.

This time of year (September & October) is also perfect for exploring unspoilt beaches on the island’s north coast, or visiting the pretty village of Ano Mera in the centre of Mykonos. I loved the location of the Radisson Blu Euphoria Resort, Mykonos which is located in a more tranquil part of the island, offering a peaceful retreat away from the party crowds.

This serene setting allows guests to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Mykonos without the hustle and bustle. This makes it ideal for couples, families, or anyone seeking a more laid-back experience. Lastly, if you come out of season, bring a few extra layers though as the sea breezes can get chilly!

6. STUTTGART, GERMANY

This is my biggest surprise of this list of 7 Best Places to visit in 2025. As summertime temperatures climb across Europe, avoid the crowds on the beaches in the south and explore Germany instead. Stuttgart is a great little-known and underrated spot in Germany. Come for its incredible culture, cuisine, history, green spaces, and shopping opportunities. However, Stuttgart is also a great base for discovering some of the fairytale villages that surround it in southern Germany such. My absolute favourites were Bad Wimpfen, Schwabisch Hall, and Tübingen. Moreover, the local countryside has lots of vineyards. Therefore, visiting during the summer is a great way of making the most of all the city has to offer. Don’t forget Stuttgart’s gorgeous surroundings its delicious local wine!

Stuttgart is a paradise for car enthusiasts, and the Radisson Blu Hotel at the Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart elevates the experience to a new level. The hotel is located within the Porsche Design Tower, blending sleek, automotive-inspired architecture with modern luxury. Every detail, from the rooms to the lobby, reflects Porsche’s legendary precision and aesthetic!

Make sure to visit the Porsche Museum which shows the brand’s legendary history. It features over 80 vehicles, from the first Porsche ever built to iconic race cars like the 917. It’s basically like following a journey through decades of innovation, design, and engineering that has shaped the automotive world. You don’t even need to love the cars to actually enjoy it!

7. EDINBURGH, UNITED KINGDOM

Last but not least on my list of 7 Best Places to Visit in 2025 – Edinburgh is the ideal place for a late-winter trip. Firstly, its elegant architecture, steep cobbled streets, and impressive castle look especially romantic on cold, sunny days and as the nights draw in. You’ll feel like a character from Harry Potter as you wander up and down its alleyways!

Neighbourhoods like Portobello and Leith also offer lots to see, do, and sample off the well-beaten tourist track too. However, Edinburgh’s incredible sights, museums, and galleries offer plenty of indoor activities if you aren’t so lucky with the weather. Otherwise, have your fill of Edinburgh’s amazing food and drink scene, from the smallest pub in Scotland (The Wee Pub), to cute coffee shops and bakeries, to plenty of Michelin-starred restaurants. Don’t miss dinner at the Witchery for fine dining in a dramatic setting right by the castle.
Radisson Blu Hotel, Edinburgh City Center is literally surrounded by history. The hotel is nestled in the heart of Edinburgh’s UNESCO-listed Old Town. It is surrounded by cobblestone streets, medieval buildings, and historic landmarks. Exploring nearby attractions feels like stepping back in time!
